Chino Scott-Chung

Chino Scott-Chung is a Chinese Mexican American writer. His father is Chinese and a "paper son," who came to America using documents that said he was four years older that he really is. His mother is mixed-race Chinese/Mexican, born and raised in Mexico, and her first language is Spanish. Chino is a retired San Francisco firefighter and is currently pursuing his MFA in fiction at the California College of Arts. He loves to imagine and write stories, and spend time with his wife Maya and their 13 year old daughter Luna. Currently he is working on a story about a Chinese trans guy working the Rio Grande railroad in the 1880s.
