I'm an Irish poet, feminist activist and creative writing teacher. I'm currently doing a Creative Writing PhD in University College Cork on the theme of reimagining Irish women's history using long, experimental poetic forms. My collections are Encounter (2010) and The Wild Pupil (2012). I originally qualified as a doctor, and have worked with homeless teenagers, families in crisis and young parents. I'm a member of the Irish pro-choice campaign.
