Angie Chau is the author of Quiet As They Come, a book described by Publisher's Weekly in a starred review as "serenely stirring stories" in which, "characters radiate dignity and depth, seek freedom but find crushing loneliness." She has received awards and support from Hedgebrook, the Anderson Center, and the Macondo Writers’ Workshop. She is a member of the San Francisco Writer’s Grotto and is currently at work on a novel set in Vietnam before the Fall, titled Hold Me Hostage.
