Meagan Day
Meagan Day is a freelance writer who focuses on politics, social movements, labor, law and history. Her book Maximum Sunlight, a journalistic portrait of a remote town in Nevada's Great Basin, is available from E.M. Wolfman and will be excerpted in the Best American Nonrequired Reading, 2017.
She was a Ben Bagdikian editorial fellow at Mother Jones, and is an at-large editor at Full Stop. she's a former staff writer for Timeline, and her work has also appeared in Jacobin, In These Times, The Week, n+1, The New Inquiry, The Believer, The Towner, The Morning News, SFMoma's Open Space, Salon and elsewhere. She has worked at Aeon Magazine, McSweeney's and Time out Istanbul, and interned at Granta Magazine.
